The 7th Comic Strip Is Online! Yay! At last! Sorry for the delay fans, been a crazy couple of weeks at work and at home. Plus I’ve been distracted by going to see Avatar at the movies and bringing myself out of a 5 year retirement to play a game of indoor cricket (played pretty well for an old man too!) and baby daughter taking her first steps. Back To Using Windows Paint! I’ve gone back to using Windows Paint again, it’s just so simple and easy. I had my mind totally set on using Photoshop and all it’s wonderful technical features this year, but simple is best and I can’t be bothered screwing around any more! IT’S TAKING TOO LONG PEOPLE! Yes I’ve picked up some decent Photoshop skills over the last year, but at the end of the day I’m working full-time for a TV news crew, I’ve got 2 kids to look after when I get home, I just want to dash into the computer room and smash out a quick comic strip between the last kid falling asleep and me going to bed myself. Windows Paint, draw the lines, add speech, press the fill-colour icon, add a bit of shading, background, DONE! Off to bed before I get distracted by internet porn! Not sure how many strips I’ll be able to draw this week with a Cyclone due to hit our town tomorrow (which I’ll most likely be out on the road filming for most of the week) but I’ll see how I go.
