Introducing... Drew Comic!

The star of the show! Drew is a hopeful cartoonist who is constantly being rejected by Ed the local newspaper editor, ignored by Ping his hopeful Chinese girlfriend, beaten up by Thumper the resident bully and outdone by Mr Perfect the ultimate specimen of manhood. But despite these obstacles Drew never gives up the dream (even though he probably should!)

Introducing... Drew's Alter Ego!

Drew's Alter Ego is Drew's own cartoon creation of himself. He comes to life on the page after Drew has completed drawing him. Drew's Alter Ego is in fact his very own repressed sarcastic and cynical cartoonists mind. Watch out, he has a sharp edge!

Introducing... Ping!

Ping, from the Qing bloodline, descendants of the now ethnic minority Manchu, bold warriors of the North-East who broke through the Great Wall to rule China and beyond for many centuries before the fall of their last emperor.

Drew, pathetic ruler of nothing, is infatuated with Ping and is in complete denial to the fact that the feeling is not mutual.

Introducing... Ed!

Ed is the local newspaper editor who is constantly rejecting Drew's cartoon submissions. Whilst being sympathetic towards Drew and his endless struggles he simply has no time to consider any cartoons for his newspaper at this indefinite point in time.

Introducing... Phil!

Phil is Drew's friend in need (as in Drew being in need of a friend!) Phil always has an answer to Drew's questions on the meaningless of his life. He sometimes pops his head into the comic strip when you least expect it to give his own philosophical spin on the situation.

Introducing... Thumper!

Thumper likes to thump people.

That's pretty much all he does.

Introducing... Mr Perfect!

Mr Perfect, the ultimate specimen of manhood. Drew can't stand him for this very reason (and also because Ping can't stop drooling over him!) Mr Perfect however is far too obsessed with himself to go out with Ping for any other reason than to make himself look even more perfect. Drew knows this, and lives in hope!
